00000Gabriel was a tall and angular doe with a long swan like neck. She had short strong pasterns and good angle to the hock when viewed from the side. Her first show after she freshened was a local county fair. I had never uddered her up before so I guessed at where I thought her rear udder would be when I clipped her. Boy was I surprised the next morning when there was 2" of a hairy rear udder looking back at me! She had a beautiful high wide arched rear udder, nice size teats with good placement and good extension of fore. Unfortunately, her show career was short lived as she got a bad case of mastitis which damaged her udder. This significantly lowered her appraisal score after her first freshening. She continued on as part of breeding program and is behind many of my does to this day.
