00000Thank you for
your interest in the YBNVS herd. I have been raising French Alpines
for 12 years and since then I have branched out into Saanens.
00000I use mostly AI sires from the
best French Alpine bloodlines in the country today and from the
past. I show mainly open class during May-July but do attend a few
fairs every year.
00000Although I do enjoy showing the
does and respect correct type, productivity is also very important
in my breeding program. I am striving for very high protein and
butterfat production.
00000My does are all CAEV negative
and CL free. They are tested for CAEV annually at WSU. All the does
are fed high quality 16% protein grain that is locally milled in
addition to the best alfalfa and orchard grass. I also supply the
does with free choice minerals and 5 acres of pasture to graze on.
00000I require a $100 deposit to hold
a kid of your choice. Please pick at second choice in case the first
is unavailable. ADGA registration is included in the price but vet
work and shipping costs are not. If
you do not live near Washington shipping kids is relatively inexpensive.
Continental's 2008 shipping rate for under 50 lbs is only $189.00
+ tax, and the cost of a crate (approx $60) and health certificate
(currently $35). Please contact me for other shipping options including
transports for mature animals or delivering kids to the spring shows
I will be attending. Kids need to be picked up or shipped
by 1 month of age.
00000 I hope that
you will consider adding a YBNVS doe or buck to your herd. Please
feel free to contact me for any more information.
Sincerely,
